Workshops

Foundational Coach Training - 24 CCU

This training includes in-depth skills development in Gestalt based coaching, an exciting self discovery, coaching demonstrations with highly experienced coach/trainer, as well as thorough feedback from trainer and peers.

The 24 hour training program consists of
 
  • A strong theoretical foundation in Gestalt, such as 
    • Gestalt coaching intervention 
    • Systems thinking
    • Content versus process 
    • Polarities
    • Paradoxical theory of change
  • Key elements of structural thinking in coaching
  • In-depth skills development in Gestalt based coaching, such as
    • Working in the here and now
    • Use of self as a coach 
    • High quality connection to self and client
    • Unit of work
  • An exciting self discovery
  • Individual coaching demonstrations with highly experienced coach/trainer
  • Coaching practice groups and peer to peer coaching
  • Thorough feedback from trainer and peers




60 HOUR ADVANCED COACH TRAINING FROM THE GESTALT PERSPECTIVE - 60 CCE

For practicing coaches who want to deepen their coaching skills.

This training program consists of three consecutive modules:

MODULE 1.

The Gestalt Cycle of Experience and Resistances (3 days)

In this module we focus on

  • How we use the Gestalt Cycle of Experience to create powerful coaching interventions
  • How to recognize signs of inner resistance in coach and in client
  • How to turn resistances into curiosity
  • How to identify a strength in a resistance
  • How we use the information we observe so that our client moves towards solution to his or her problem


MODULE 2. 

Practice sessions (6 x 2 hour sessions online)

During each session two participants conduct practice sessions after which they receive robust feedback from trainer and peers.


MODULE 3.

Uncovering Taboos and Blind Spots to Enhance Client Performance (3 days)

Taboos and blind spots cover enormous resources in us, resources that are often hidden personal treasures. In this module participants will learn a three-step model showing how to work with blind spots:

  • Identifying them
  • Accepting their positive qualities
  • Integrating these qualities into their clients’ daily work.

Participants will learn, and practice, advanced Gestalt coaching skills.

By self-awareness exercises they will also be developing themselves as their most important tool.

By the end of this 3-day module  participants will feel more confident

  • Talking about issues that are hard to talk about
  • Working with client’s shame and vulnerability related to resistances and taboos
  • Working with clients at a deeper level
  • Thinking structurally
  • Enhancing client’s performance

 

 In the 60 HOUR ADVANCED COACH TRAINING participants will learn

  • How to apply Gestalt theory and skills in their coaching practice (Gestalt Cycle of Experience, polarities, etc.)
  • How to track changes taking place in client, themself and the coaching relationship
  • How to identify different types of inner resistances in client and themselves
  • How to turn resistances into curiosity
  • A three-step transformational model to transform blind spots into resources
  • Tools to help clients to talk about taboos
  • How to work with shame and vulnerability in coaching
  • Ways to develop tolerance for working with the unknown
